Lake Arenal is World Famous for Windsurfing and Sailing.  During the windy months of  January, February and March the winds can reach upwards of 60 MPH.  Lake Arenal is 33 miles long and stays 76 degrees year around. The weather in Lake Arenal is also very tropical with 75 to 85 degrees average temperatures. Windsurfers come from all over the world to surf Lake Arenal.

    The local restaurants have great food and the local folks are very friendly.  There are many other activities in Lake Arenal including Hiking, Fishing, White Water Rafting, Volcano Tours, Zip Lining through the Rainforest, Hanging Bridges, Butterfly Museums, Bird Watching, Kayaking and Canoeing, and many more. You will need at least a week in Lake Arenal to really experience the area.
