Google and Yahoo no longer use Keyword Meta tagging as the
primary means to determine indexing results. The
search engines look at your entire web site to see the
dominant overall terms used, including your incoming and
outgoing links. That's why it necessary to have good
keyword content on your pages. This is easier said
than done however. Its very difficult to use the same
keyword phrases over and over and sound natural.
It takes a lot of skill to write good keyword page
content. It is also risky to repeat a keyword or phrase to often as it
may be considered keyword stuffing by the search engines. You always
need to write your page content for your customers and not for search
engine indexing. You must have unique and new information on your
pages to get them ranked and at the same time you must fill your pages
with the keyword phrases you want to get search results for.
